|Chad C. Hine, Funeral Director / Manager|
Chad has been involved in funeral service since 2004, and became a licensed funeral director and embalmer in 2007. He has worked at Blessing since 2010, and has found the compassionate dedication of the staff to be second-to-none. His mission is to provide the best possible care to families, and to continue the funeral home's legacy of quality service.
|Miranda Mackey, Funeral Director Apprentice|
Miranda is the most recent addition to the Blessing-Hine family. After a lifelong interest in funeral service, she attended Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science and graduated Summa Cum Laude in April 2016. Her extensive prior experience in customer care helps her maintain the high level of service for which Blessing-Hine is known.
|Josephine Granger, Funeral Home Administrator|
Josephine brought eight years of experience as an administrator for another local funeral home with her when she joined the Blessing staff in January 2004. Her admiration and respect for Charles Blessing, who she worked with previously for a short time, influenced her decision to become to be a part of his team. The uniqueness of the architecture combined with the serene chapel-like interior also influenced her to take the position.
|Kim Graham, Pre-Planning Specialist|
Kim began helping families plan at Blessing-Hine in April 2015 after working more than 30 years in the insurance industry. She has resided in Beachwood since 1995, and is active in the community through WIN Cleveland (Women In Networking), Playhouse Square Partners, FENG (Financial Executive Networking Group), NAIFA (National Associate of Insurance and Financial Advisor), and Estate Planning Council. In her free time, she enjoys travel, skiing and golf.
|Donovan Kelley, Funeral Director Assistant|
Donovan joined the funeral home in 2009 and enjoyed working for the late Charles Blessing and learning from his many years in the industry. He is attending Kent State College to earn a bachelor’s in science and nursing, and hopes to earn his funeral director license in the future. He resides in Stow with his wife, Danielle, and two beautiful children, Payton and Brenna, and is a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, and works in the off hours for the Stow Police Reserve Unit.
|Jay Krier, Funeral Director Assistant|
Jay started working for Blessing Funeral Home in 2003, but also owns Professional Transport Service, and is a state certified death investigator. He is a member of the Embalmers Association of Cleveland and the Cleveland Funeral Directors Association. Jay resides in Walton Hills with his wife, Marianne, and is a member of St. Barnabas Church. He has a son, Daniel, three step-children and two grandchildren.
|Tom Hovan, Funeral Attendant|
Tom began working at Blessing Funeral Home in the summer of 2005. He recently retired from the City of Maple Heights after 31 years of service. He lives in Northfield Village with his wife, Jan, and their family.
|Marisa McLelland, Funeral Attendant|
Marisa has worked at Blessing since 2010 and feels honored to be part of the transformational time a family experiences when their loved one is laid to rest. Residing in Hudson, she and her husband, Tom, have three children and all call Rejoice! Lutheran Church their worship home. Marisa has been a member of the Tuesday Women’s Bible Study Group at Christ The King Lutheran Church in Twinsburg for many years. In her spare time, she likes to bike, read and travel, especially back home to Pittsburgh to spend time with her parents.
|John Wier, Funeral Attendant|
John has assisted with calling hours, services and other funeral-related tasks at Blessing since January 2015. Before working at the funeral home, he retired as a contractor to the Department of Defense. He has two children, two step-children and 10 grandchildren. He lives in Stow with his wife, Margie, and enjoys traveling, bicycling and spending time with his grandchildren.
The Blessing-Hine Funeral Home staff page would not be complete without mentioning the late funeral director and manager Charles R. "Chuck" Blessing. To say that he learned his profession from the “old school” is not an exaggeration, and he always maintained the high standards he developed as a young boy.
