It is not always possible to pay respects in person, so we hope that this small token will help.
Offer a gift of comfort and beauty to a family suffering from loss.
A gift to your family, sparing them hard decisions at an emotional time.
|Josephine Granger, Funeral Home Administrator|
Josephine brought eight years of experience as an administrator for another local funeral home with her when she joined the Blessing staff in January 2004. Her admiration and respect for Charles Blessing, who she worked with previously for a short time, influenced her decision to become to be a part of his team. The uniqueness of the architecture combined with the serene chapel-like interior also influenced her to take the position.
After graduating from high school, Josephine married and took time to raise her children. She became interested in travel and attended The American Airline Training School in Texas. When she learned to issue airline tickets, she opened J&R Tour & Travel Agency in Bedford, Ohio. In 1989 she sold the Agency to Jig-Saw Travel in Solon, Ohio, and became Vice President of The Felix Wright Travel Agency in Independence, Ohio, where she remained until the Agency closed in 1996. During those years, she found she had a deep and sincere love of people. Working in a funeral home taught her the true meaning of compassion and how rewarding it is to help families cope in their time of need.
Josephine currently resides in Streetsboro, Ohio with her husband James, and they have been married for 23 years. She has four children and six grandchildren.
