It is not always possible to pay respects in person, so we hope that this small token will help.
Offer a gift of comfort and beauty to a family suffering from loss.
A gift to your family, sparing them hard decisions at an emotional time.
Our historic funeral home was built in 1929 and served the community as a chapel for the local cemetery. This location became The Charles R. Blessing Funeral Home in 2002, and is now known as Blessing-Hine Funeral Home.
The story of this funeral home would not be complete without mentioning, Charles R. "Chuck" Blessing, the late funeral director and manager.
He began his career working in a funeral home when he was just 15 years old. To say that he learned his profession from the “old school” is not an exaggeration, and he always maintained the high standards he developed as a young boy.

Reasons for selecting Blessing-Hine Funeral Home
Selecting Traditional Funeral Arrangements
When you choose a traditional funeral you allow us to take care of the details. It's no secret that details are what we do best. We'll assist you in deciding on the most suitable options for your loved one, and then our caring staff will handle the rest.
Options for Cremation
If you prefer cremation, we're happy to inform you that many of the same options associated with a traditional funeral are still available. As with all funeral arrangements, the type and choice of service is left up to you and your family. Ask us and we'll assist you with urns, service personalization and final disposition.
Simplifying Prearranged Funerals
Choosing to make advanced funeral arrangements is an individual decision, however we encourage families to take this important step together. Preplanning ensures that your family and friends are aware of your preferences when it comes time to make some tough decisions. Prepayment is optional but not necessary; however, it does protect from inflation on items such as the services, casket and vault. If you've already preplanned with another funeral home, rest assured, transferring your plans is not a problem. We graciously honor all prearrangements made at any other funeral home.
